Gato Construction
Main Characters
-

Vincent
Meow.
Vincent lives his fabulous luxe life atop one of the Gato family’s most famous high rises, right in the center of the Chicago-like city of Miumix.
He throws lavish parties and schmoozes everyone from politicians to police to smooth over the inevitable red tape delays, but he hisses at even touching a hammer and wears a hazmat suit on the job site.
He’s 100% allergic to physical labor, but 100% on board with the riches it brings.
-

Frank
Get ‘er done.
Frank’s the eldest of the litter and natural heir to the CEO title, but he has zero interest in running the business.
He hates the business end but loves to be on the job site. This cat’s up early, grinding out physical labor and at happy hour by four.
It’s the life he loves to lead, but his siblings keep pressuring him to do more and he’s the one who has to manage the jobsites and execute the plans Jessica designs and fixes Vincent brokers.
-

Sophia
Posh Spice Kitty
Sophia dreamt of the artist’s life in Paris, but her art is objectively bad. However, her architectural designs consistently win awards and accolades.
She declined top-firm jobs, so she can be the in-house design chief at the family business and have time for her cringe art shows.
For a free spirit, she’s inflexible when it comes to her designs, which puts her at odds with Frank often, but her love for fine things keeps her and Vincent close.
-

Marianna
Work it, girl.
Marianna runs the show. She’s got a brain for business and carries the heavy load of responsibilities for Gato Construction on her shoulders alone.
With a litter of her own, she’s perpetually in take-care-of-business mode, so her siblings’ frivolous pursuits and lack of ambition grate on her nerves.
She’s dad’s darling, but still must let him believe he’s running things in his twilight years—which gets messy at times..
-

Big Chi
The Competition
The tiny Chihuahua who snarls before he speaks and wants to drive the Gatos right out of business.
It’s his town, or so his Doberman Pincher momma promised him when the Chiens ruled construction.
Now, those Gatos are everywhere, and he’s got the energy of a cracked-out Chihuahua, because, well…
That means he will never, ever stop trying to take them down.
Gato Construction
“Shadow Dancing” Pilot Synopsis
Pilot: Shadow Dancing
The Gato’s Kitten hospital construction project is at a standstill because Big Chi pressured a commissioner to bury the paperwork. The patients have nowhere to go because their old building has been condemned, so the Gatos must band together to pull all strings to get it done.
It isn’t easy when Marianna’s on her first vacay in three years and Dad’s MIA.
No one is going to mess with Momma’s favorite charity, so she comes out of “retirement” to make the dogs pay.
The fam is in shock and awe, but the permits get approved and the hospital can open.
